EasyJet has announced six new routes from four UK airports for summer 2025, along with thousands of easyJet holidays packages.
The budget carrier is also expanding its UK fleet with an additional A320 aircraft being based at Bristol airport.
The new services include flights to Milan Linate from Manchester and Edinburgh and two new routes from Birmingham to Gibraltar and Bordeaux.
The additional aircraft in Bristol will support the launch of two new routes to Palermo in Italy and Almeria in Spain.
The new routes to Milan (pictured) have been enabled by the opening of a five-aircraft base at Linate next spring, following approval by the European Commission for easyJet to be the short-haul remedy taker of slots in Milan Linate and Rome Fiumicino, as part of the transaction between ITA Airways and Lufthansa.
As a result, the airline will also open three-aircraft base at Rome Fiumicino from March 30, 2025, joining existing bases in Milan Malpensa and Naples.
Flights to Milan Linate from Manchester and Edinburgh will start on March 30, 2025, with flights up to seven days a week throughout the year.
EasyJet will also increase frequencies from Gatwick to Milan Linate from one to up to two daily departures.
Birmingham-Bordeaux flights will take off from May 1, followed by Birmingham-Gibraltar from June 1, 2025.
Flights from Bristol to Almeria will launch on June 24, 2025, then a new summer route to Sicily’s capital, Palermo, will start on June 26, 2025.
Sister tour operator brand easyJet holidays has launched thousands of packages across the new routes.
Ali Gayward, easyJet UK country manager, said: “Following another consecutive record summer, easyJet is continuing to grow in the UK next year with more aircraft, enabling us to offer an even greater choice of flights and package holidays for our customers across the country.”
