Emirates is bringing forward a daily Edinburgh-Dubai service using a new Airbus A350 aircraft to January 3.
The carrier resumed direct flights from the Scottish capital for the first time since the pandemic in 2020 earlier the month using a Boeing. 777.
Emirates has now confirmed the new year date for the introduction of its first A350 from Edinburgh, including a new business class cabin. The timing had previously not been disclosed.
A350s will also be deployed to eight other destinations including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kuwait, Bahrain, Colombo, Lyon, Muscat and Bologna, with others to follow.
The airline also serves Glasgow with a daily A380 superjumbo, providing 14 flights and week to and from Scotland.
Emirates serves eight destinations in the UK including Edinburgh.
