Finnair is deploying wide body long-haul aircraft from Helsinki to London and two other European cities this summer.
A mix of Airbus A330s and A350s will operate up to 26 times a week to Heathrow, Amsterdam and Brussels – the highest number since before the pandemic.
The long-haul aircraft on selected services offer business class, a new premium economy cabin and refreshed economy class.
This makes Finnair one of the only European airlines to offer long-haul lie-flat beds on short-haul routes.
An A350 is being used on morning and evening departures from the London airport.
