Turkish carrier Freebird Airlines is expanding its UK trade presence for next summer with more flights and a new selling system in time for the January peaks period.
Frequency from Gatwick to Antalya will rise to a daily service for summer 2023 from four flights a week this year.
The airline will maintain two flights a week to the Turkish destination from Manchester on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Dedicated trade marketing support from is being offered as Freebird prepares to launch a new selling system to agents before the turn of year.
This investment is in addition to the deployment of dedicated UK airport staff who helped the Freebird programme operate with “minimal delays” this summer, despite challenges faced by other airlines.
Head of UK sales Carl Denton said: “Summer 2022 brought its challenges but one of the winners has been Turkey as a destination and its value for money will ensure it will continue to be a success for next summer.
“Freebird is a trade focused airline who works with agents, tour operators and OTAs and we look forward to building further on these relationships for next summer.”
