Freebird releases summer ’24 Gatwick-Antalya schedule early

Turkish carrier Freebird has put summer 2024 flights to Antalya on sale from Gatwick earlier than in previous years.

Daily Airbus A320 flights start on May 20 and run until the end of October.

The release follows a record breaking second year of regular services on the route as frequency grew from four flights a week in 2022.

Head of UK sales Carl Denton said: “After two years of Gatwick operations, Freebird is now establishing its brand and reputation for reliability and affordable flights to Antalya.

“Despite the challenges from industrial action and air traffic control this summer, with our own dedicated airport supervisory staff, flight disruption has been significantly minimised relative to other operators.”

“Freebird is a trade focused airline looking to support agents, tour operators and OTAs, and with our earliest summer launch to date, we look forward to building further on these relationships.”

Multiple price and bundle options are available from a basic fare with no checked bags to a fully flexible ‘bags, seating and meals included’ option.
