Latin American carrier LATAM is reinstating flights between London and Sao Paulo next month.
The airline will serve the Brazilian city with an initial four flights a week from December 3.
The evening Boeing 777 departures will operate from Heathrow Terminal 3 with return fares starting at £507.
The last LATAM flight departed London on January 17 before government restrictions were put in place between the UK and Brazil due to the pandemic.
LATAM regional commercial director Joao Murias said: “We are proud to reconnect London to Sao Paulo, and from there to all of South America.
“The demand as soon as the news broke that we were back in operation has been incredible, which reinforces that our commitment to connecting the UK to South America is more topical than ever.”
The carrier plans to “gradually recover” its operations in Europe and beyond in the coming months as travel restrictions ease.
