Princess Cruises to offer Med fly-cruises with Jet2.com

Princess Cruises will offer flights for select Mediterranean voyages from four UK regional airports through Jet2.com.

Flights will be available from Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Newcastle to combine with a Mediterranean cruise on Majestic Princess in spring and summer 2025.

Flights can be booked through Plane Sailing, Princess Cruises’ air travel booking service, and include 22kg hold luggage and 10kg hand luggage per person.

Cruise passengers will be able to access and manage their booking using their cruise booking reference.

Majestic Princess voyages for 2025 include two 10-night Grand Western Mediterranean tours; one sailing round-trip from Civitavecchia from April 11 2025, and another sailing from Civitavecchia to Barcelona from June 30, 2025.

Flight prices start at £371 per person for the first tour, and £350 per person for the latter.

Eithne Williamson, Princess Cruises UK and Europe vice-president, said: “These flight allocations with Jet2.com allow our guests to coordinate their air travel with their cruise itinerary, enhancing their holiday planning experience and offering greater flexibility and security.

“This collaboration underscores Princess Cruises’ commitment to providing exceptional service and convenience, making it easier for our guests to start their dream Mediterranean cruise from a location closer to home.”

Williamson added: “With limited availability on flights and Princess Cruises’ 2025 Mediterranean season in high demand, we encourage guests to secure their flight and cruise while they can, to ensure they don’t miss out.”

This follows Jet2.com announcing it would operate charter flights for a Fred Olsen Cruise Line fly-cruise programme in the Mediterranean next autumn.
