Ryanair will add a new Birmingham to Knock route to its UK summer 2022 schedule.
The service between the UK and the destination in County Mayo, Ireland, will operate twice weekly from March 22.
Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares available from £19.99 for travel until the end of October 2022, which must be booked by midnight on Wednesday (December 15).
Jason McGuiness, Ryanair’s commercial director, urged passengers to book early because air fares are likely to increase in summer 22 “due to reduced capacity”.
He added: “We are pleased to add this new route to Knock as part of our UK summer 2022 schedule, offering our customers yet another amazing European destination to choose from when planning their summer break.
“Having added over 560 new routes and opened 16 bases throughout the last 12 months, Ryanair is now looking ahead to summer 2022 and the addition of 65 new B737-8200 ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft to its fleet, which offer 4% more seats, 16% less fuel and a 40% reduction in noise emissions, making Ryanair’s summer 2022 schedule the most exciting and environmentally friendly to date.”
