Trade prepares for first Globe Travel Awards since 2020

The first Travel Weekly Globe Travel Awards since January 2020 will take place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Tuesday evening.

The event, held in association with media partner Hearst UK, will welcome more than 1,200 guests as awards are handed to a range of suppliers based on tens of thousands of travel agent votes.

Stu Parish, managing director of Travel Weekly parent Jacobs Media Group, said: “It has been a long 26 months since we last gathered in person for the Globe Travel Awards, and we can’t wait to welcome the industry’s biggest names as we recognise the resilience and relationships that have been the hallmarks of the pandemic.

“The travel trade has had to contend with unimaginable challenges over the past two years, and the Globes will allow us a chance to reflect on that period and the ongoing and deeply saddening conflict in Ukraine, as well as celebrating the partnerships that will underpin our sector’s recovery.”

You can follow coverage from tonight’s Globe Travel Awards across Travel Weekly’s Facebook channel and on our Twitter and Instagram channels using #TWGlobes.

The full list of winners and reaction will also be available during the night on travelweekly.co.uk.
