Abta LifeLine introduces summertime grant package

Abta LifeLine has launched a new grant to provide assistance to those in the travel industry who are facing financial challenges during the summer months.

The travel industry charity said that the summer holidays and the return to school in September often impose “significant” financial strain on many families.

ABTA LifeLine will be offering food vouchers, support in purchasing school uniforms, stationery and tech supplies, as well as the opportunity to create family memories with attraction day vouchers plus transport and subsistence costs.

The Summertime Grant will run until the end of September.

Eligibility for this grant is open to individuals who currently work for, or have worked for, an Abta member. Applicants must also provide uploaded bank statements for review.

In the case of the Summertime Grant, eligibility extends to individuals with children under 18 living at the same address.

Previous recipients of support from Abta LifeLine are welcome to apply for these grants.

Abta LifeLine said: “The charity is dedicated to building a stronger, more supportive industry and invite eligible individuals to apply for these grants to receive the assistance they require during challenging times.”
