Elite Travel Group welcomes two more members

The Elite Travel Group has welcomed two members, bringing its total to 50.

Chatsworth Travel had previously been an Elite member but left just before the pandemic. It has now returned to the consortium.

Chairman Robert Lines made the announcement at the Elite’s first overseas conference in three years which took place in Cordoba, Spain from September 30 to October 3.

He said he is not surprised that Elite, which has been in partnership with Advantage since 2008, has welcomed more members as it is the “friendliest consortium in the business”.

“It is heartening to welcome two members to Elite as everyone is on the lookout for new members so it’s great that they have come to us”, he told Travel Weekly.

“I believe we offer fantastic value to our members and we have a the best social calendar of events compared to any other consortium.

“We get great feedback from all our members and when we go to travel events everyone is always really enthusiastic about what Elite does for them.”

He added: “We are talking to four other people at this time so hopefully we continue to grow our membership.”

The Elite conference, named Travel Reunited, took place at the Eurostars Palace Hotel and saw 60 suppliers and agents participate in workshops and watch presentations from headline sponsors and speakers.
