G Adventures will operate more than 550 tours during August and September – bringing its total to 900 since it resumed operations in September 2020.
The rise in business means that the operator is also recruiting more staff in its key regions including the UK.
It is seeking ‘global connection officers’ to work in the G Adventures contact centre, known as the ‘boombox’.
These are the first point of contact for the operator’s agents and clients, helping to book the right holiday.
G Adventures is currently recruiting 12 new boombox members to support the UK team.
Brian Young, EMEA managing director for G Adventures, said: “Due to increased demand, enquiries and tours on sale, G Adventures is delighted to be recruiting global connection officers to support its key operating regions, including the UK.
“We will be welcoming back some former colleagues, as well as those new to G Adventures and, as part of our new flexible, digital-first model, these roles can be either office-based or remote.”
The August and September tours to green and amber list destinations range from hiking trips in Europe to cultural tours in the Middle East.
They include G Adventures’ new ‘Active Europe’ holidays, designed to show a different side to mainstream European destinations such as Ibiza and Crete.
Young added: “For many travellers, this will be the first time they are looking to travel abroad since the pandemic first started and we’re striving to give them as much choice as possible with this amazing list of departures running through August and September.
“G Adventures has been operating trips since September last year. We’re well versed in operational protocols and can provide the confidence travellers are looking for when they go away.”
