Gold Medal organises fam trip to mark new Caribbean and Mexico brochure

Gold Medal is inviting agents on a fam trip to Barbados to mark the release of a new Caribbean and Mexico brochure, which comes after significant sales growth.

The 116-page brochure showcases the B2B operator’s expanded portfolio of products, including newly opened resorts and renovated properties.

Agents who make a Caribbean or Mexico package booking by July 15 will have a chance of winning one of four places on a Barbados fam trip, with double entries awarded for packages with Aer Lingus flights.

Deborah Wadhams, head of long-haul product at Gold Medal, said: “With an outstanding selection of all-inclusive properties throughout the portfolio, agents need look no further for assured fun-filled and stress-free holidays to the Caribbean and Mexico.”

Gold Medal said it identified demand for a new brochure after recording Barbados and Antigua sales growth of 22% and 26% year on year respectively, with Jamaica and Grenada sales increasing by more than 40% after the introduction of greater flight capacity.

The 2024/25 brochure, which contains family-friendly and adult-only options, features “ever-popular resorts” as well as new openings.

In addition to destinations including Antigua, Barbados and Jamaica, smaller islands are also covered – among them are Aruba, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Turks and Caicos.

“This brochure has been created by our passionate team who have so much knowledge to share,” said Wadhams.

She added: “With the increased global focus on sustainability, we were also keen to highlight some of our resorts that are showing meaningful commitment in this area, so agents can discover these resorts for their more conscious travellers too.”

The fam trip is being run in partnership with Barbados Tourism and Aer Lingus.
