Gold Medal releases new USA and Canada brochure with incentive

Gold Medal is giving agents the chance to win a trip to America as the operator promotes its USA and Canada 2023/24 brochure, featuring five new properties and 21 new experiences.

The 112-page brochure, which is being sent to more than 200 agents, follows the same “refreshed and enhanced design” as the brochures already launched by Gold Medal this year.

Agents qualify for the chance to win a trip to San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas if they make any USA or Canada package booking with Gold Medal up until August 17.

Mark Henderson, Gold Medal’s head of product (west), said the new brochure includes “a wealth of inspirational itineraries”.

He added: “These multi-centre journeys allow customers to really immerse themselves in the
incredible variety of experiences on offer in the USA and Canada.”

Gold Medal said the brochure features hotels that agents might not have seen before, citing the new Arlo SoHo Hotel in New York and the new Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort in Orlando.

As well as featuring traditional “must-haves”, it also contains packages that tap into trends identified by Gold Medal’s staff. Ranch holidays have become more popular, the operator said, while customers also want to stay longer in cities to explore them more deeply.

The agent trip to the USA’s ‘Golden Triangle’ for two people includes international and domestic flights, Alamo car hire and a selection of in-resort experiences.

Gold Medal is also issuing double Farebank rewards to those who make a USA or Canada booking up until August 6.

Henderson said: “The USA and Canada are destinations that we pride ourselves in being experts of.”

On Orlando, the operator added that agents can earn Farebank Rewards on every package booking, plus an instant bonus of £25 on all new 2024 Orlando bookings made before July 13, 2023.
