Jet2 puts summer 2023 on sale from all UK bases

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ summer sun 2023 flights and holidays are now bookable from all the company’s UK bases after the programme went on sale at Leeds Bradford Airport.

It is the earliest the operator has ever gone on sale for summer – in a normal year its summer 2023 programme would have gone on sale in the spring of 2022.

The company said it was responding to demand from customers who wanted to book early for destinations across the Mediterranean and Canary Islands.

Its Leeds Bradford programme went on sale today (November 11), offering 41 summer sun destinations. These include Palma (Majorca); Ibiza; Faro; Lanzarote; Dalaman and Tenerife. There will be 180 weekly flights departing Leeds Bradford during peak periods in summer 2023.

Its other nine bases, where holidays and flights are already on sale, are Glasgow; Belfast International; Birmingham; Bristol; East Midlands; Edinburgh; Newcastle; Manchester; and Stansted.

The summer 2023 programme will include more than 1,350 weekly flights at peak times, including more than 200 weekly flights to the Canary Islands and more than 250 to 14 Greek destinations.

The company is due to announce the launch of further leisure city destinations for summer 2023 over the coming weeks.

The launch of the summer 2023 programme from all 10 UK bases follows reports by the company of “huge pent-up demand” in recent weeks. The reassurance of an Atol-protected package is also proving popular, the company said.

Steve Heapy, chief executive, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Customers and independent travel agents have been telling us how much they want to book something to look forward to into their diaries, so we have responded to that demand by putting our summer 2023 programme on sale earlier than ever before.

“With Leeds Bradford Airport going on sale today, we now have summer sun on sale from all 10 of our UK bases.”
