Mark Schmitt has returned to SeaDream Yacht Club as sales director for the UK and Ireland.
He has replaced Natalie Read who has “decided to take time off to pursue a lifelong dream”, the line said.
Schmitt previously held the role of UK sales consultant at SeaDream Yacht Club from 2015-2020, after which he held positions at Tradewind Voyages, Fred Olsen Travel and, most recently, AmaWaterways, where he departed in July due to a “team restructuring”.

In his new role, Schmitt has been tasked with building and expanding relationships with trade partners and growing distribution channels, particularly the line’s charter business.
“I’m very excited to be working with SeaDream Yacht Club once again,” Schmitt said. “They have an outstanding product and team that I know very well.
“I’m very much looking forward to building relationships with our current valued partners and growing new trade relationships.”
Executive vice-president Andreas Brynestad added: “This strategic hire represents an exciting step forward in our commitment to further expand our presence in these key markets.
