Christian Armond has been named by Mercury Holidays as its first chief marketing officer.
Armond joins the Kent-based escorted tours and winter sun specialist having left Ocean Holidays in July 2023.
Prior to that he worked as marketing director at Loveholidays for two years and head of digital marketing at Tui for more than four years.
He has been appointed to lead the marketing function and help the business on the next stage of its growth, primarily around developing a digital marketing strategy for escorted tours and winter sun destinations.
Mercury Holidays chairman Martin Bugeja said: “‘We are delighted to have Chris join our team. He brings a wealth of marketing and travel industry experience and will be great addition in achieving our strategic growth targets through performance-led marketing.”
