Nicko Cruises releases 2024 brochure featuring additional vessel

Nicko Cruises has released its 2024 itineraries, which will include sailings on an additional vessel.

The collection features 24 itineraries sailing on seven European rivers and operated by 13 of the line’s river ships, with the Bellejour (pictured) making its first appearance.

The 180-passenger vessel is identical to its sister ships Bolero, Viktoria and Maxima.

Nicko Cruises’ new brochure includes six Danube sailings with a new Charms of the Danube itinerary and, new for 2024, all Danube cruises will include a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay in Passau.

The line’s Christmas and New Year programme has been expanded with four Christmas market itineraries on the Danube and Rhine and two new Christmas cruises on the Rhine.

The three-night round-trip Advent on the Rhine sailing departs Cologne and calls at Rudesheim and Koblenz. Prices start at £945 based on two people sharing and departing on December 17.

All cruises featured in the brochure are all-inclusive.

Michelle Daniels, commercial director for Nicko Cruises’ UK general sales agent Light Blue Travel, said: “I’m pleased to say our promotion of Nicko Cruises to the UK market is starting to pay dividends and we are seeing particular growth in group bookings and charter enquiries.

“Following fast on the heels of the launch of the handy Nicko Cruises reference tool for UK agents comes the 2024 expanded Nicko Cruises brochure produced specifically for the UK market.”

She added: “Light Blue Travel’s River Cruise Academy training programme will be expanded very shortly to include an extensive Nicko Cruises training programme and in-depth European rivers module, as well as other trade initiatives in the pipeline for the remainder of this year, including several fam trips and a Vasco Da Gama ship visit in Portsmouth.”
