Sandals and Beaches Resorts estimates that a UK travel agent could earn £12,610 across the lifetime of one customer who books holidays with the Caribbean specialist.
The firm has created a graphic showing the ‘Lifetime Journey of a Sandals and Beaches Customer’ to demonstrate the earning potential at different stages of life.
It starts with a young couple booking an all-inclusive holiday, then moves on to a wedding and honeymoon, an anniversary holiday, a trip with friends, a family holiday at Beaches, a vow renewal ceremony and then a regular returning guest.
Alongside the ‘roadmap’ showing the average holiday costs and commission earnings, the infographic shows sales tips for agents, such as how to market to different age groups, how to upsell and add extras for clients, and encourage repeat bookings.
The infographic adds: “During this time these very same customers will have no doubt booked additional holidays outside of our brand – increasing your earnings further.
“They will have also recommended your knowledge and expertise to their friends and family along the way.”
There is also advice about becoming a Sandals Specialist which enables agents to earn free ‘Sell & Go’ nights at the resorts and take advantage of cash incentives and the chance to win places on fam trips.
