Specialist operator Limitless Travel offers coronation-themed trips

Limitless Travel is offering accessible trips to celebrate the coronation of King Charles this year.

The disabled-friendly tour operator has announced three itineraries to mark the coronation, which takes place at Westminster Abbey on May 6, including one trip that takes in a guided tour of Buckingham Palace.

A Royal Tour departs in July and also features a visit to Windsor Castle and Hampton Court and a cruise on the River Thames.

Three-star accessible accommodation is provided on the outskirts of London with travel provided on an accessible coach equipped with a hydraulic lift or ramp. The five-day trip, led by a tour manager, costs from £1,299.

Two further trips being offered with a coronation theme feature tours in Scotland.

The six-day Scotland Explorer tours Edinburgh’s landmarks, including Edinburgh Royal Yacht Britannia and Holyrood, and visits Loch Lomond.  It costs from £1,699 with departures in June, July and September.

The six-day Scottish Highlands Experience features an excursion to Balmoral Castle in September and costs from £1,999.
