The Travel Network Group to host two Israel fam trips

The Travel Network Group (TTNG) will host two fam trips in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem following a two-year delay.

The trips, which were originally planned for 2020, are being supported by the Israel Ministry for Tourism, and will see attendees enjoy walking tours of Jerusalem, wine tasting and dining experiences.

Places on the trips, which will both take place in September, were released to TTNG members on May 31, and all 50 spots were booked up within hours. The consortium said it is exploring options to add places so additional members can go.

Chief executive Gary Lewis said: “With trading continuing to improve over the past few months, we’re confident in our decision that September will be the perfect time for our members to put a few days aside for this exciting trip.

“We’re incredibly humbled by the support shown by our members and the quick take-up of the places, showing the excitement to experience the rich culture Israel has to offer.

“We encourage any members still eager to join the trips to register their interest as soon as possible while we look to expand spaces. Should we still be oversubscribed, the additional places will be allocated to members through a draw.”

Sharon Ehrlich Bershadsky, director of the Israel tourist office in London, said: “We’re very excited to share all that Tel Aviv and Jerusalem have to offer, enabling a unique and diverse experience set against a beautiful backdrop.”
