Toucan Travel parent company TravelCorp Midlands is to transfer five of its six branches to The Travel Network Group.
The group’s agencies Toucan Travel in Chineham, Tadley and Hook, Hart Travel in Fleet and Chatsworth Travel in Chesterfield will join Worldchoice, part of TTNG.
Toucan Travel and Chatsworth Travel were previously part of The Elite Travel Group, which they joined in 2022.
TTNG said the move would give the agency access to training programmes, marketing initiatives, payment solutions and a network of industry partners.
TravelCorp Midlands said it aimed to further enhance its current offering and “expand its reach within the travel community”.
Accounts and operations manager Lisa Readings said: “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with The Travel Network Group. This move aligns with our commitment to continually evolve and provide the best possible service to our customers.
“We are confident that by leveraging the resources and support of The Travel Network Group, we will not only meet but exceed the expectations of our valued clients.”
TTNG chief executive Gary Lewis welcomed the agency to the consortium.
He said: “Their dedication to excellence perfectly aligns with our own values, and we are excited to support them in their continued growth and success.”
Toucan Travel collapsed in October 2020 but was then bought out of administration by Travelcorp Midlands, a private investment platform set up by four friends, including JTA Travel Group managing director Wayne Darrock, in November 2020.
