Your Co-op Travel has opened a new branch in Sutton Coldfield with digital screens and an interactive map after relocating from its store from the high street to a shopping centre.
The new branch, part of Co-op Travel, the travel retail division of The Midcounties Co-operative, is now located in Gracechurch Shopping Centre and will have its official launch on October 4.
It was previously based in The Parade in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.
It features digital screens and an interactive map for customers of all ages to use to inspire their next holiday, with the option to scan QR codes to see which destinations are popular currently and other products offered by the group’s tour operator Your Co-op Holidays.
Sara Dunham, chief officer for travel and leisure, The Midcounties Co-operative, said: “The opening of our new branch in Sutton Coldfield marks an exciting next step for our store team and our members and customers, with our new space including more digital and interactive features to inspire adventures across the globe.”
The branch team will continue to be managed by Joanne Fryer and will be handing out branded cup cakes at the official opening. Your Co-op Travel tote bags with holiday essentials will be given to clients who visit the branch for a holiday quote during the first week of trading.
