Newmarket Holidays strengthens agent ties with new appointment

Kieran Savill has taken on the newly-created role of partnerships manager at Newmarket Holidays as the operator seeks to strengthen ties with travel agents.

The position has been designed to help facilitate and support the next stage of growth for the escorted tours specialist, with an emphasis on generating new partnerships across all available channels.

Savill with almost 20 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry, having specialised his skill set as a product operations manager and business development manager in previous roles.

He has worked with several operators and agents including Hays Travel, Dawson & Sanderson, First Choice Retail, and Tui.

He will report to newly-promoted head of trade sales and partnerships Richard Forde to execute a comprehensive partnership strategy.

Chief commercial officer David Sharman said: “As we continue to grow, this new role is critical in terms of generating new partnerships for the company across all available channels. 

“With Kieran’s background, he will undoubtedly support the retail team, coming with added strategic opportunities gained with his insights from his retail experience.

“We’re delighted to add further support to our retail team, which will boost prospects for growth for us and our partners.

“This also puts us in a strong position to seek out new partnerships and enables us to further enhance our product portfolio which will benefit all our current partners. As we already have a strong relationship with Kieran, I’m delighted he is now part of our team.”
