Saint Lucia offers agent incentives during summer campaign

Saint Lucia is offering an incentive for agents as part of a summer marketing campaign.

‘Summer, Saint Lucia Style’, being run by Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) until July 31, is promoting the eastern Caribbean nation as a destination offering a variety of experiences and good value.

Agents who are quick off the mark with bookings will receive a bottle of rum.

Patricia Charlery-Leon, SLTA director for UK & Europe, said: “A summer holiday in Saint Lucia is versatile thanks to our range of accommodation but also the easy accessibility of daily flights and such a broad variety of experiences when you’re there.”

Dedicated trade packages can be found on the ‘Saint Lucia Expert’ platform, with participating suppliers being Caribtours, If Only, Lusso, Classic Collection and Gold Medal.

The first five agents and representatives to log bookings on the portal from May 1 – for travel this year – will win the rum.

Information about each destination is available on the portal and it will also give agents the chance to win quarterly prizes and secure invitations to fam trips.

‘Summer, Saint Lucia Style’, which is an annual campaign, promotes the idea that travellers can easily customise their holiday based on their interests.

Charlery-Leon said: “We get a lot of families travelling with tots and teens and an increasing number of solo travellers who are looking for a wellness holiday.

“Our events calendar attracts groups of friends with the Saint Lucia Carnival in July proving the most popular.

“We are delighted with the significant savings that our tour operator partners have been able to offer which means that there is great value to be had.”
