Foxall takes new management position at Global Travel Group
FORMER Midconsort chief executive Sue Foxall will go head to head with her former colleagues after being recruited by Global Travel Group as business development manager.Foxall, who left in March after a split with the board, will become a permanent consultant for Global with responsibility for raising the brand’s profile.
She will also look to build membership and the relationships with operators.
“I will be in direct competition with Midconsort and may look to recruit some members,” said Foxall.
“I think major operators will pull away from consortia which don’t perform, so we must ensure we do.
“When I was at Midconsort, Global was a bit unknown but it’s a major player.”
Foxall added that Global has the technology to enable members to sell directionally. Global founder George Begg said: “Sue has the profile we need.”
