THE TURKISH Government has announced it is to sell a 51% stake
in Turkish Airlines, the national carrier.
A spokeswoman for the airline said: “Privatisation talks
have been going on but we are still the national carrier for Turkey.”
She was unable to say how the sale would take place or when
it may happen.
