TELEVISION-based agency Travel Deals Direct has widened its
distribution network and launched on the interactive Telewest Active Digital
network.
The new service will allow subscribers to Telewest’s service
to select a holiday from the comfort of their armchair while watching
television. The user can then chose what footage is fed to their television so
they can make a close study of the accommodation, swimming pools and other
resort highlights before deciding whether to make a booking.
Customers can browse over 150 breaks including long and
short-haul breaks from operators including JMC, Airtours, British Airways
Holidays and Virgin Holidays.
