SIMPSON Travel managing director Simon Beeching is to leave the company next month to pursue a broader career in travel.
The tour operator’s founder Graham Simpson, who is also Watford Football Club executive chairman, will take on the managing director’s responsibilities from next month.
Beeching, who joined the operator two and half years ago, said: “I have very much enjoyed helping to establish Simpson Travel as a leading specialist operator during a period in which the company has doubled in size.”
He will remain a shareholder in the company.
Simpson Travel was founded in 2003 and offers holidays in Greece, Spain, Corsica, Italy and Morocco. The summer 2007 programme was launched in September, following 45% year-on-year sales growth in 2006.
