AIRTOURS has launched its youth brand Escapades brochure for summer 2000 with a focus on activities.
Head of specialist products Gary Wardrope said the operator is continuing to move away from the beer-drinking market by offering options in resort.
Jeep safaris, paragliding and a range of water sports are all being promoted in the new brochure.
“We have seen a move away from the beer drinking groups and want to give them the opportunity to do something different in resort,” said Wardrope.
“Of course the emphasis is still on fun, but it’s not simply about going on pub crawls.”
It has retained its party hotels, which were introduced for 1999, featuring all-day breakfasts and late check-outs.
The brochure has also been redesigned and features computer-generated characters in the mould of Playstation’s Lara Croft. Prices lead in at £179 per person for seven nights’ self-catering in Ibiza.
