Titan HiTours ups commission on new bookings

Titan HiTours is raising agent commission on new bookings for travel until the end of the year.

The escorted tour specialist declined to detail the new levels as agents receive staggered remuneration depending on volume sales.

The initiative is just one of a number of developments planned for the next few months, according to agency sales manager Steve Curry.

“We are right behind the trade in everything we do,” he said.

“Agents can count on our full support – we have a range of marketing materials available to request and we undertake numerous joint promotions to help them reach their own targets.

“Our sales from agents continue to grow even in this challenging environment.”

The move comes ahead of a new brochure due to be published in August and the company taking on Conrad Advertising to manage its advertising.

Titan Hi-Tours’ marketing director Dan Whitehouse said: “Although Titan has historically managed its advertising in-house, we wanted to supplement our internal marketing expertise with Conrad’s specialist know-how in direct response travel advertising.”
