IN RESPONSE to Bernard Johnson’s letter (Travel Weekly August 30), I would like to assure all your readers that, like Mr Johnson, at Sovereign we care a great deal about our customers. Prior to issuing tickets we identified a difficulty with the flight booking for thecustomers in question. As soon as this was highlighted we investigated the options and our reservations supervisor contacted the customers todiscuss the options.
They chose to accept an extra night’s holiday in Kuala Lumpur on their return journey with Malaysian Airwaysleaving their eight-night stay in Bali unchanged.
We have contacted MrJohnson to apologise and I can assure him and all agents that our priority is to continue to offer a quality service .
