Travel 2 lifts stopover options with World Discovery fare

TRAVEL 2 is launching a new World Discovery fare to Australia and New Zealand offering added value to its existing Discovery fare.

The deal enables passengers to stop at six destinations en route, as opposed to four, with increased route combinations offering savings of up to £200 on standard fares.

In addition, passengers are entitled to free stopover accommodation valued up to £25, or the same discount on other ground arrangements and can also book additional Australian city stopovers for £50 each, effectively reducing the cost of domestic travel arrangements.

Flights – which must be booked and paid for by September 30 – are operated by British Airways and Qantas to seven destinations in Australia and three in New Zealand.

Travel is valid between November 1 1999 and June 30 2000, excluding the December 1-January 14 period.

Return fares, which start at £551 to Perth, are net allowing agents to determine their own commission and selling price to clients.
