BRITISHMediterranean Airways has appointed its first ever corporate sales manager in a bid to boost high-yield sales.
Paul Ford joins from The Travel Company where he was responsible for new business.
His role at the BritishAirways franchise carrier will be heavily promoting the sale of Club World business-class seats.
The airline has increased frequencies to the key cities of former Russian states and to the Middle East on behalf of BA and needs to keep yields high.
Ford’s appointment comes as the airline prepares to cut agents’ commission to 7% from 9% next month.
