Ambassador Cruise Line introduces training programme for homeworkers

Ambassador Cruise Line will launch a training programme designed for homeworking agents throughout February.

Ambassador’s business development executives will host ‘Sip & Sea’ events across the country where 15 to 20 agents will have a bottomless brunch while learning about the no-fly cruise line.

The first session will be hosted by Kelly Whitefoot at the Botanist in Birmingham on February 7, followed by one at the Malmaison in Liverpool with Carly Bowkett on February 18 and another at The Ivy in Manchester with Natalie Hurst on February 20.

There will be three events on February 28: one at The Botanist in Exeter with Jade Cheadle, one at the Malmaison in Glasgow with Debbie Ballantyne and another at The Botanist in Ipswich with Andrew Santry.

Karen Cameron, deputy head of trade at Ambassador Cruise Line, said: “Our trade partners are incredibly important to us, and we want to show our appreciation for our homeworking agents through this dedicated training programme.

“Homeworkers can often miss out on integral training, yet they are key to our success, and we want them to be armed with the tools they need to confidently sell our brand.

“We hope they’ll enjoy their bottomless brunch and, if these events prove popular, we’d love to roll them out on a bi-monthly basis.”

Ambassador has also added to its line-up of themed sailings with a new In Conversation With…’ series hosting stars from Coronation Street, Brookside and Emmerdale, with the first leaving in February.
