CROWNE Plaza and new Bass stablemate Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts have joined together in a summer marketing strategy that will offer up to 60% savings to customers.
More than 300 of the brands’ hotels around the world will be discounting their rates from June 18 to September 5.
In addition to discounted rates the brands are offering suite upgrades, a second room for half-price and bonus airline mileage with participating airlines for no extra cost.
This is the first time a strategy has been formulated for the two upmarket brands jointly since Bass bought Inter-Continental last year and formed a special upscale division for marketing the two brands.
Inter-Continental vice-president for marketing in Europe Adrian Simpson said: “The options programme is completely flexible and means couples or families can tailor their main holiday or short break to suit their needs.
“As well as an excellent rate, families can take advantage of the half-price second room or couples may wish to opt for a suite upgrade – a luxurious touch they may not ordinarily book.”
