ON THE MOVE:
n The Online Travel Company has appointed Robert Faulkner as its new financial operator. Faulkner previously worked for British Airways, where his responsibilities included general manager for the Asia Pacific routes, group chief accountant and executive vice-president for North America.n Greatdays Travel Group has named Julie Carney as its new product manager for Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Spain and Portugal, while Carole McNab has been appointed as its new London groups manager. Carney was previously with Shearings Holidays, while McNab was employed by Nippon Travel.
n Tammy Lamb has joined Freedom Direct as a travel consultant. She will be responsible for marketing worldwide holidays across the UK. She joins from the stationery and computer software markets.
n Travel Inn has appointed
Carl Leaver as its new managing director. Carl joined Travel Inn’s parent company, Whitbread Hotels, in 1995 as director of sales.
n Robert Van Eerde has been appointed general manager of the Clarence Hotel in Dublin. Van Eerde ran the Almenara Hotel launch in Spain and was general manager of the Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle in Scotland from 1994 to 1999.
