JG Travel Group has brought forward the launch of its core UK festive breaks programme, putting it on sale over two months earlier than last year.
UK coach tours now bookable include Christmas markets trips in November and December, Turkey and Tinsel breaks, Twixmas options for the period between Christmas and New Year, and holidays over Christmas itself. New Year breaks will be on sale soon.
Claire Dutton, trade sales manager at JG Travel Group, said: “We’ve never had our core UK festive programme available for agents to book this early.
“Traditionally, our European festive breaks and major events such as the annual Thursford Christmas Spectacular go on sale in mid-January, but the rest follows in April time.
“However, we’ve seen more and more customers wanting to book their Christmas trips as early as possible to secure their chosen trip, and I’m delighted that this is now possible.”
The programme is available through Just Go Holidays and National Holidays and features several new options alongside popular breaks.
New to the UK Christmas markets range is a two-day Stratford-upon-Avon Victorian Christmas Market coach break on December 7, from £129.
A new five-day Turkey and Tinsel break to Eastbourne, Brighton and the south coast offers departures on Mondays between November 4 and December 2, from £289.
A new five-day Christmas in Eastbourne tour, departing on December 23, is priced from £399.
Packages to events such as London’s Winter Wonderland and Christmas carols on a steam train will soon be added to the range and festive breaks brochures will be sent to agents in the spring.
