The Midcounties Co-operative has announced a rebrand of its travel agencies to Your Co-op Travel as it confirms all branches will reopen on April 12.
Three of the society’s 78 travel agency branches in England, currently called Co-operative Travel, will reopen next week with the new ‘Your Co-op Travel’ signage and branding. The first to boast the new branding will be the Evesham, Thame and Beccles branches.
The fascia of the remaining 75 branches will be rebranded gradually over time, except for the seven Carrick Travel branches, which became part of the group in October last year. These will retain their existing name and branding.

The rebrand forms part of a wider adoption of the ‘Your Co-op’ branding, which will see all the society’s sub-brands renamed with the same ‘Your’ prefix, such as ‘Your Co-op Food’, ‘Your Co-op Pharmacy’ and ‘Your-Co-op Funeralcare’.
The Midcounties Co-operative’s travel agent homeworking division is also being rebranded and will be known as The Personal Travel Agents in partnership with Your Co-op.
Sara Dunham, chief officer, travel and leisure services for The Midcounties Co-operative’s travel division, said: “As a business that is fully owned by its members, the new ‘Your Co-op’ brand identity powerfully reflects that idea of belonging to our members, which is so important to us.
“Our purpose is to serve our members and our success as a co-operative society is down to building great connections with our customers, member-owners and the communities in which we operate.
“Our co-operative values are at the heart of everything we do and our members have a direct say in the decisions we make, whether that’s shaping our long-term business strategy or choosing how we support their local communities.”
Natalie Turner, head of retail for Your Co-op Travel, added: “We’re delighted to be unveiling our new ‘Your Co-op Travel’ name and are excited to be re-opening our branches on April 12. We’re busily preparing our agents for a return to face to face, in-branch appointments and they cannot wait to welcome their customers back in, to book that long-awaited getaway.”
The cooptravel.co.uk website has also been refreshed with the addition of a Covid Travel Service to help customers when they book. It includes a new section on testing, the latest updates from the FCDO, a guide on what to expect when you travel, frequently asked question and a travel checklist.
