Tipto has thanked agents for their support at its ninth annual afternoon tea and pledged to build on 2o22’s growth this year.
The trade marketing body, which now boasts 20 members, held its annual event at Fortnum & Mason in London for more than 50 members and agents.
Tipto member Luke Smith, director, international sales, of Carnival Cruise Line, said: “2022 was an amazing year for Tipto. We are seeing different agents and the word is spreading about Tipto.
“The landscape has changed and there are a lot more homeworkers in our industry so we are adapting what we do to tailor it to the homeworking fraternity.
“Tipto continues to grow for 2023; we have 25 roadshows and there is an opportunity for agents partners to come and see our suppliers and get to know more about our businesses.”
The organisation plans to bring back its agent SuperShows, with two planned in the next six months. Each will have 100 agents.
Since September last year, 57% of agents at Tipto events were homeworkers and 56% of agents in attendance were new to Tipto.
Tipto continues to support charity Reuben’s Retreat.
