Jet2.com is expanding its twilight check-in service to Glasgow airport.
The initiative is already in place at eight other UK airports, enabling holidaymakers on early morning flights to check their bags in the night before departure.
The service at Glasgow airport Terminal 2 will become available from August 1.
Passengers check-in online at least 24 hours before their flight, then drop their bags between 4.30pm and 9pm the night before.
They can then arrive at the airport the following morning and head straight to security, bypassing check-in, before catching their Jet2.com flight.
Jet2.com managing director Phil Ward said: “As we get into the peak summer season, this is yet another example of Jet2.com investing in a VIP experience for our customers.
“Our free twilight check-in service is a smart and secure service that will really add to the overall holiday experience for customers travelling from Glasgow airport.
“We are the only airline to operate such a service from Glasgow airport, meaning Jet2.com and Jet2holidays customers can start their holiday luggage-free and breeze through the airport to catch their flight.”
