Jet2 expands Greece summer programme across four islands

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added more capacity across four Greek destinations this summer in response to “continued demand” for more choice over peak dates.

Extra services will run between July and October from Bristol, East Midlands, Manchester and Stansted which will add more than 17,000 seats to Rhodes, Corfu, Crete (Chania) and Kos.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has claimed this summer represents its “biggest ever programme” of flights and holidays to Greece, with more than 3.1 million seats on sale from the UK and 328 weekly departures during key summer periods.

There will be additional weekly services to Rhodes from Bristol airport on Wednesdays between July 2 and October 8, to Corfu from East Midlands airport on Fridays between July 4 and September 12 and to Kos from Stansted on Thursdays between July 3 and September 25.

Jet2 will also offer further Monday services to Crete (Chania) from Manchester airport between July 21 and September 1.

Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “The continued appeal of Greece as a summer destination means we are adding even more choice for customers and independent travel agents.

“As a leading airline and the UK’s largest tour operator, we know just how much holidaymakers love these Greek destinations as a means of soaking up some summer sun, and we are delighted to be once again stepping in to meet the strong demand.”

He added: “With fantastic deals, plus great choice and flexibility, there is no better time to book a welcome escape to Greece and give yourself something to look forward to this summer.”
