Gold Medal unveils Far East & India brochure

B2B operator Gold Medal has launched its final brochure of 2024, with a 116-page publication covering the Far East and India.

The dnata Travel group UK brand has also unveiled an incentive to accompany the brochure launch, with four places up for grabs to join the operator on a trip in 2025 travelling to Malaysia (pictured), in partnership with Malaysia Airlines.

Three places will be awarded to an agent who registers a Far East or India package booking with Gold Medal between October 22 and December 17.

One wild card place will be awarded at the end of the campaign period.

As well as Malaysia, the brochure offers destinations such as Thailand, Bali, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.

Deborah Wadhams, head of long-haul product, said: “With demand for holidays to the Far East and India constantly growing, our final brochure in our 2024 portfolio is a highly anticipated one.

“We have included a selection of new hotels across the region to meet demand, with a particular focus on Thailand.

“This is our strongest performing destination, accounting for almost 60% of our total Far East sales, with Phuket and Khao Lak being our highest volume drivers.

“Japan is a destination showing significant growth too, with sales increasing by over 60% in the last year.

“We expect this to continue into 2025 and beyond, so we have featured tours within the brochure, including G Adventure’s Back Roads of Japan.

“While India is a significant touring destination too, we are also delighted to see an increase in beach stays being added on to more and more packages.”

Printed copies of the brochure will be arriving at 200 Gold Medal agencies from Tuesday (October 22), and also available digitally, with supporting marketing materials and offers available on Gold Medal’s website and social media channels throughout the campaign.
